I'm writing this content in an editor that has additional settings that will be used to categorize and store this content and combine it with other content that has been previously constructed in order to produce the full web page you are on right now. I'm using a content management system. The alternatives to making this page include using a graphic page builder and producing each full page individually, or breaking out a text editor and writing all the HTML, CSS, and Javascript for each page by hand. Both of those options take an enormous amount of time and aren't really practical for the day-to-day management of content. In this blog post, I will provide helpful information and resources to get you started, including a video walk-through of installing and setting up some recommended products from SiteOrigin.

WordPress Tutorials
It is important to understand how WordPress functions to create pages and posts with native tools. I've provided some links to get you started but it is important that you take the time to address anything you don't understand from the tutorials before you get too far in building your website. Finding a forum to join is also a good way to get advice and feedback from other WordPress users, so I've also added some of those to the link list.
Page Builders
In a previous post, we covered themes. Themes determine a lot of the functionality of a WordPress website. Page builders extend the functionality of your WordPress website, allowing you to create page layouts and design customization more easily. Not so long ago WordPress had a limited editor for creating pages and page builders made more complex layouts possible without needing to write HTML. I want you to understand the default behavior of WordPress before you get too far into page builders so you understand what part of the functionality is WordPress and what part is the page builder in the event you want to change the page builder you're using sometime in the future. If you're interested in the different page builder option, you can find that on the wordpress.org or wordpress.com websites.

SiteOrigin Premium offers a wide range of tools that make it a powerful solution for layout and design. Customize your WooCommerce pages, create mirror widgets to create content that can be placed anywhere with a widget or block, and create complex layouts across all device sizes, all from SiteOrigin. We would have to go around the constraints of most page builders to get the unique designs we provide for our clients. SiteOrigin caters to customization and control over design.
